2. Subject of Protection
The subject of protection is personal data, that is to say, details of personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. With each request the this website records various general data and information, which are stored in so-called logfiles (logs) of the server. These data include

Bitpalast® needs the aforementioned data in order to deliver the content of our website correctly and to ensure the long-term functioning of our information technology systems and the technology of our website. The stored data will only be evaluated for statistical purposes. In principle, this data cannot be assigned to specific persons by Bitpalast®. Personal user profiles cannot be formed. The data will not be merged with other data sources.
The processing of the data is based on art. 6 I lit. b) GDPR. According to this regulation, the processing of personal data is required to fulfill a contract for the use of this website of which you are a party or to carry out pre-contractual measures. In addition, the processing by art. 6 I lit. f) justified because it is in our particular interest and does not outweigh your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. Our interest is to deliver our web content properly and in a user-friendly manner.

This website implements an “inline frame” that points to a website by Spotify USA Inc, 4 World Trade Center, 150 Greenwich Street, 62nd Floor, New York, NY, 10007. The inline frame shows a player by which the music that this website discusses can be played. An “inline frame” is a window through which you look onto another website. The content of the inline frame is not a content of this website, but offered by a different provider, in this case Spotify. Your browser connects individually to the external Spotify website when your browser allows inline frames. Inline frames are widely used across the Internet. The data processing is justified by art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR as it is our legitimate interest to offer the music that is discussed on this website as playable music as all of this website is about this very music.
6. Data Erasure and Storage Duration
This website neither tracks, nor stores personal data. Hence there is no data that we could erase. As far as web server log files are concerned: The IP addresses in log files are anonymized at least once daily. The log files are retained for no longer than 30 days.

We are required by law to inform you about your rights, but this website does not track, nor store personal data, so it is practically impossible that any privacy rights can be violated. The following paragraphs are only displayed as general information, because they are a legal requirement.

You have the right to demand from Bitpalast® that the personal data concerning you be deleted immediately, if one of the following reasons applies and if the processing is not required

- You have revoked your consent, to which the processing according to art. 6 I lit. a) GDPR or art. 9 II lit. a) GDPR was supported, and no other legal basis for the processing exist.
- You object to the processing in accordance with art. 21 I GDPR and there are no prior justifiable grounds for processing, or you object to the processing according to art. 21 II GDPR.
- The personal data were processed unlawfully.
- The deletion of personal data is required to fulfill a legal obligation.
- The personal data have been recorded in relation to information society services provided in accordance with art. 8 I GDPR.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You may require Bitpalast® to restrict processing if any of the following conditions exist:
- The accuracy of your personal information is contested by you for a period of time that enables the person responsible to verify the accuracy of your personal information.
- The processing is unlawful, you refuse the deletion of personal data and instead require the restriction of the use of personal data.
- We no longer need your personal information for processing purposes, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend your rights.
- You object to the processing according art. 21 I GDPR and it is not yet clear whether our legitimate reasons prevail over yours.
Right to Data Transfer
You have the right to receive personal data concerning you, that Bitpalast® processes by means of automated procedures based on your consent (art. 6 I letter a) or art. 9 II lit. a) GDPR) or on the basis of a contract (art.6 I letter b) GDPR), in a structured, common and machine-readable format. These data may be transmitted to another person or transmitted by Bitpalast®, as far as this is technically feasible and if this does not affect the rights and freedoms of other persons.
Right to Object
For reasons arising out of your particular situation, you may at any time object to the processing of personal data relating to you, which takes place on the basis of art. 6 I lit. e) or f) GDPR.
Upon receipt of your objection, Bitpalast® will no longer process the relevant personal data, unless Bitpalast® can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing is to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
You can object to the processing of your data for the purpose of direct mail at any time. In this case, Bitpalast® will no longer process the personal data for this purpose. This also applies to the profiling, as far as it is associated with such direct mail.

To protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons, Bitpalast® implements technical and organizational security measures according to art. 32 GDPR. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. Access to them is only possible for a small number of authorized persons and persons subject to special data protection who are involved in the technical, administrative or editorial support of data.
